listen. don't bother going to d3 yet. and if you want to go d3 Don't get the update that makes it say gen d full. you will have issues seeing your iso/cso files and freezing. get the screwed up one(beta) that they released by accident. makes your psp say gen d3, still boots the games and everything and seems less buggy. but its not ready yet

if you are more technically inclined and u have a psp 2000 v1 or v2, get the shell for linux, and get the pc shell too. install the psp emulator into the package, use that to boot games and update... its HARD AS HELL to get to work but you can update to 6. whatever official firmware and its just an emulator so your psp remains 5.50 and to answer the questions im about to get shot at me. you use an iso or img mounting program and put that into it as well. put the iso into mounting program and rename the drive to the letter the emu uses for UMD or cd. and you can play iso with ofw on an emulator.

Update

It seems that this release was a mistake. GEN uploaded it since the site was being "attacked" by demanding noobs. This release was a beta. Here's the final.

Some people are getting reports of "hiding" or "corrupted" ISOs. I'm not really sure what is causing this problem...

no dammit. the final makes your system say gen d full. and you can't see your iso files sometimes. its buggy as hell. just wait untill they fix it all. you will regret it. psp starts randomly freezing. so on. and avatar sucks anyways lol there is no reason you can't stay d2 for a week. look do what you want but im warnin ya. i have the accidental beta and the full d3. and if i didnt have a pandora id have screwed my psp up.

The latest version i uploaded here on EP seems tobe working fine on both phat and slim,. i tested both

i have already updated 30 min ago,. also tested to see if iso/cso's show up and works fine,. also tested with game_categories,..

there is no need for warning's,.. there have been needless warning's at pspgen site already,. i have tested on both phat and slim,. works fine,..

if you installed the beta version from a previous release today,. then just reinstalll the new version,. no need for pandora! <>?>!?!!!

Son, my PSP has been through much worse. I'm not scared of a beta CFW.

It works fine on my phat (it says GEN-D (Full) in my System Information). No lag, all plugins work, all games show up fine. No problems whatsoever.

hah nah its its buggy i went from beta to d3 also. and then it said gen d full and i couldnt see iso files so i redid d and d2 and then beta and then d3 a second time and i saw all my isos but sometimes the game freezes during play or just surfing the net. i have 2 psps and the problems are intermitent. go ahead and try it im sayin its not worth it to play avatar or naruto lol im pretty sure every other game is patched anyways. the beta seems to work better then the full patch for some reason.. any ideas?

i thought they said they got the comic reader into this? and so all gen d3 does is boots a few games i don't see much else lol

i am not sure if D3 is installed now,..
the install on the slim psp works fine

same as yours, installed it on fat and 5.50 GEN-D (Full) and not D3 on system info, but runs 6.10 games perfectly, ihave tried naruto 3(jap),an metal slugxx..
