next time some one makes a theme, think about removing all these (almost) pointlest icons from the xmb

PLay station network the whole option.

manual from the network bar. radio too and rss and the search button. and posibaly the remoteplay... i don't know any one who uses it...

game sharing from the game bar. and the gamesaves... cause u can't really do anything with that eather except for delete saves..
the camera option from the photo bar... its pointless... only like 1/8 of people around the world actualy have the camera.. and use it....


i think with all that removed.. it would be a little more smooth. if you get where im coming at...


and for the themes that have the xmb bar at the bottom with words in stead of icons... a shadow or what ever that is used to distinguish what xmb icon your on, could be a little more noticeable... so you don't have to quint to see if your on the games section or photo ect....


and use a text font that is small enough so when your on the psp browser, the words don't go off the screen cause the font makes them too lengthy/big













but all means if some one wants to make me a theme... it would be cool as hell of you.. and very greatly appreciated...

I use that, and those, and that too. IE: You can copy saves to other cards.

yeah, i like the internet radio

you still have to plug it in to copy saves... unless there is homebrew to wirelessley send it, and even with the homebrew i don't think it needs an xmb icon for it.

but hey. its just a personal choice...i don't see a NEED for any of these...


and i can't use playstation notwork any ways cause of my custom firmware... so how is that important? its just useless to me and any other cfw user

There are some good point's in that but some icons should stay there, like the camera, you may not think it's not that big of a deal, but someone in the world is going to be using you're theme and be like "Great! now I've got to change the fudgeing theme, whoever invented this theme is a fudgeing retard", and wee don't want to be called retards now do wee? that would make us sad..., the help icon can be chucked for sure, I've checked it out once in my LIFE (yes I have one) and that's it.

I've got a theme idea, (fudgeing win by the way, but everybody says that so.., you wouldn't know for sure...) only problem is I've tried, and, well after a good 6 hours through I go all , mostly because I have no idea what I'm doing, or things aren't working out as planned. (... haven't gotten past editing the vshmain.prx, which is the first thing I started with)

i understand the fact that people DO have the camerah. but face it, i SURE AS HE11 don't like ALOT of the theme people put out there any ways... and i bet more then half of themes out there, you don't like either. there is always going to be spectulation on witch theme who likes and what not.

i like the organ theme. alot of people don't. whos to say they HAVE to use it?

You don't have to code anything...

Use Zinga's RCO editor. I'm not sure about removing them but I know you can hide them using the 1x1 icon method...I may be wrong. :p
