Didn't show anything. To give Mitsuki her due... she went to his place and confessed in the way of stripping off. Plenty of room for decisions (and yeah, Takayuki is GREAT at making decisions...).

My hate is in the fact Mitsuki got Takayuki to fall for her with her body and with guilt and pain she inflicted on herself.

2+ years too long...

Anyway, I'll probably rewatch part of (well, at least skim past it), before watching the OVA.

Let Zinga continue this discussion?

Ha! Its not just me who thinks this. I had quite a long argument with a friend over that. Whether or not he loved Haruka after those 3 years were up, he certainly didnt love Mitsuki either, but in both cases he felt duty bound to continue the relationship.

Also, tbf, it your were in a really bad state, and your best friend (well, best female friend) stripped off, i expect you'd make exactly the same descision....

Frankly Mitsuki has a little love emotion problem. I'd like to have seen Takayuki quit his job and go missing :P
She does partly due to her decisions, but I don't think it's her fault.
She tries to be a responsible figure, for example, helping her friend by building Haruka's relationship, then, even though she felt responsible for the tragedy she tries to suppress her emotions and assist one who isn't as capable as she is.  IMO, she handles situations quite well actually.
Of course, she snaps after a while...  I don't think you could call her insane for her actions in the first half of the show.

No, I'd say that was more of a conditional reaction.
I mean seriously.  She's been spending much of her time devoted to helping and caring for her high school crush.  What the hell has Haruka done?  Heck, Haruka wouldn't even be in the picture if it wasn't for Mitsuki.  And why should Mitsuki give a damn over a girl who's probably going to die soon?

ouch cold.

I do see where you're coming from, and in all honesty I don't have a problem with Takayuki x Mitsuki. I just think the way she did it was just wrong.

It is somewhat ironic that as soon as Haruka wants to try harder, Takayuki seems more uninterested in him.

Spoiler for NEXT SEASON TALK:
And judging from the way Haruka broke away from Takayuki, I think she wanted more space than Takayuki was giving her.. and she had no chance to try harder.

Bad Takayuki, BAD!

Personally wouldn't say so actually.

And note that next season is really an alternative ending as opposed to a continuation.

According to me, yes.

Straight romance. No commedy.

It's like zinga's favourite show, and rates pretty high in my books too.

However, everyone has different tastes, as shown by this massive discussion.

RE: Kimi ga Nozomu Eien
I recall seeing the boxset for AU$27 at JB's - so it's one of the cheaper shows.  Dub is reasonable, except for Haruka's voice.
Considering what you spend for other shows, I'd say yes if you like romance/drama/tragedy.
