So you've only been with the forum for like a week or so, you haven't really participated in any graphics contests (can't blame you for that though, since there are like no graphics contests recently), you haven't really gained much trust within the community... you haven't really done much at all. Now you want to be a mod, and a team leader, and you want other people to prove their skills to you, so they can be part of your team...

Ok....

You're a small time employee, cashier or something, (new forum member) working at a company (forum). you go up to your superiors (higher ranked forum members)... "Hey, I want to start my own new branch downtown (graphics team). I'm going to be the boss (graphics mod), and you guys can work under me (be my team members). But you guys probably suck, so I will have to test you to see if you're any good (you have to make a entry sig to get in), and only if you prove that you are not useless, then I will let you work under me (i will quote the ones who have made the team)".

[Multiple Choice Question] (Assuming he thinks you're serious) what do you think your manager will most likely say?

(1). "Ofcourse, I'll set up this branch for you. You can be the boss, I will be tested by you to see if I'm good enough to be your underling, and you can fire me if I don't meet your demands. Please let me be your underling, boss".

I reckon the only reason people wanted to join my team was because I gaoned a rep with them. Hell I bet even UncertainGod would have people on his team if he were to make one, and that's because he has a rep, whether negative or positive - and also he was quite interlectual....but that's besides the point/

Because I didn't want to make him feel he was being ignored I suppose - was just being nice in that respect..
