Hm the only think i can load in the game is Pokemon Emerald.sgm and it says "Error" "Unsupported VisualBoyAdvance save game version 9"

What to do? :P

I believe he's referring 2 of the 3 here:
# A gpSP or VBA save file with enough progress so that the game allows you to trade
# This special version of VBA 1.7.2 from vbalink.info
# These three settings files i prepared:

.zip File  inis.zip

Make sure you read it from the start, just follow it and you should get it.

Try a different version of the Emulator or get a different save I suppose.

Uh, I'm sorry if I'm bumping up an old topic. I registered just for getting help with this. My emulator prefers SGM files. They're the only ones that show up when I hit "load".  It can load SAV files if I manually type them in, but once I try and type in sav 1 or 2, regardless of the fact I copied them directly from the original SAVfile, it won't load. If I do it with SG1, or SGM1, or SG2 or SGM2, it always comes up with "Your partner is not ready". If I use the SAV file twice, "Your partner is not ready". Something's wrong.
EDIT: I think I found the answer somewhere else, after extensive Googling. This doesn't work for Game Boy Color games, does it?

wow that's a cool addon for gba, lol

but anyway you can still put cheats in VBA to unlock all pokemons
