Port Opening...
OK, now I'm not stupid. I know how to open a port on a firewall. (namely ZoneAlarm Security Suite) But this one has completely stumped me.

I'm trying to open port 51889 on a computer (mine) so that uTorrent can strut its funky stuff but even after opening it I still get problems. I've tried everything but still, when I check to see if the port is open/forwarded I just get an error.

Help?

RE: Port Opening...
No router at the moment. Connection is as follows:

Internet«»USB Modem«»Computer with ICS«»Laptop (over LAN)

uTorrent is running on the laptop, but I'm using the computer to 'translate' the USB Modem to Ethernet until the new modem I ordered off eBay yesterday arrives.

^ What does that say?
If there's an error, you need to port forward (most "modems" are routers these days).

That gives an error.

And no, it's just a modem. Nothing more. It's most advanced feature it that I can put a mug of tea on top of it and it will keep it warm.

Nope. That's all disabled.

Try accessing http://192.168.1.1/ in your browser, or one of these:
http://192.168.0.0/
http://192.168.0.1/
http://192.168.1.0/

Do any of them work?
