RE: What ever happened to Anime-Planet?
I actually prefer the simplicity of Anime-Planet. AniDBs system is way overkill for someone just watching Anime.

Actually, the brain overflows the biceps which conducts a molecular binding through the bio-tech color/interface of the cat. And then, he saw a dinorapter, so he RAN away because he was scared of air...

As a fansub group, you are going to be heavily requiring the services AniDB offers. I suggest you make yourself familiar with them now.

It's only overkill if you use those features. You can set it to only have like 3 options. Watched, Haven't watched, want to watch. Done. And then block out the other features. AniDB is the easiest site to customize to your needs.

Being a member at anime-planet and myanimelist.net myself, you will soon find a copy can not compete with the original.

I'll back sensei with this one.
Anime-planet is just to adorable.
I will use anidb if I need to do some heavy research but the whole thing is just too technical
I prefer the simple user friendly anime-planet

Then what's the point of "AnimePlanet" with no anime?
