I wonder if Nazo no Kanojo X started the recent fad of 'girl with scissors' (ex Dansai Buri Crime Edge, Inu to Hasami); I hear that Kill la Kill follows on with this tradition. Then again, there was also this.

Did it? I honestly can't think of any anime before it with girls+scissors. I think Senjougahara had scissors in Bakemonogatari. Not too sure thugh
