There are plenty of Memory Testing Apps out there, try them out. I believe the more popular one is MemTest86 or something similar..
Cheers....I want to upgrade it to 2GB at least and get a new processor.....I don't want to have to buy a whole new computer........
you might want to get new RAM altogether, also keep in mind you will have to reinstall XP if you upgrade your CPU
Yeah I know I have to reinstall it....that's not a problem cause my PC formatted itself in an error...BSoD....
what?? Am I reading that right????

Yep I think so........I don't know how it happened.....turned it on one day....BSoD....so I turned it off and when it loaded into XP everything was deleted......

i didn't think any os's supported that much ram. i know all 32-bit os's are limited to 3.2 gb (you can have 4gb mut you have to donate some of that to your video card). i don't know how much a 64-bit os is limited to (6.4g as a guess?). hell, how many slots does your motherboard have?
