If so then wee can actually bypass that just by editing boot.bin ?

you can't run this patch on any other file, it will just break it.  the patch goes to specific locations on the image to make changes, using a different file will just skrew things up.

yeah ive see the rip kit and they have modified some hex codes in the boot.bin, so maybe for gi joe its a different case i guess
