RE: Getting Videos onto iPod Nano..?
can't you just set it to connect as a harddrive like the psp does and drag and drop your files to it?

the iPod doesn't recognise the songs by that way.

Out of curiosity, you made that rant a while ago, have you tried iTunes 8, the latest version? Honestly, it's much better.

Don't know much about the iPod, but don't some of the custom firmwares allow you to use it as a storage/USB device?

iTunes allows you to do that, all you got to do is tick a box D; I use my classics as external hard drives and to back-up stuff... the speed is AMAZING! moar than 7200rpm i assume.

But what if you don't want iTunes+QuickTime to even touch your harddrive?

Custom firmwares also allow other things (apparently they include Vorbis support, yay!) - so is there a restriction to which iPods these can be installed on?

yes only 5G and 5.5G iPod videos can be hacked... nothing newer.. iTouch and iPhones can be jailbroken.. but just apps there, no messing with hardware.
