i guess that is true for all people... when it comes to something wee really like ( and often than not, that something is practically useless), even if it means having to do stuff wee'd normally not do, wee still do it... for instance many here will spend hours on end making a sig, but when it comes to studying (or like) it will take a exceptional amount of will power to even put in an hour without the concentration wavering...

I think that short titles are more practical for the said purpose.. the titles of Bleach's ep are so long that I don't even bother reading them... as the "new accepted" saying is, judge an ep. by its title!

For Vampire Knight, the whole preview part after the ending song is just a black screen with the white words of the next episode's title on it. That's it, no pictures or anything. "Can evoke some kind of thought or suggestion to some symbol" as you put it.

I don't know, I probably prefer medium sized titles. Something like 4 characters length.
