I've promised on her grave (she was cremated so she doesn't really have a grave, but still) that i won't take  up smoking ever in my life. and so far so good. the closest I've ever  come to smoking  is pretending to smoke a cigar. my dad tried to stop her smoking when he was about my age. he put a cap from a cap gun in one of her cigarettes. she smoked it while driving and almost crashed the car when it went off.

My great grandma died at 49, before i was born, of lung cancer caused by years of smoking, i just never vowed...
