O_O  I use them for school though - don't have much of a choice.  Sometimes use .xls cause Excel's a pretty powerful and easy to use app (yeah, there's better around, but usually have a steep learning curve which I'm not prepared to take unless I'm specialising in that kind of job... satirically, I actually am studying commerce).

Yeah, WMV sucks, but then, so does AVI.  I think MP4 will take over AVI, though MKV is currently the best container...
