man ive been doing it wrong my whole life. my foot is typically at least 7-8cm from the threshold, not the standard 5cm, and i can't typically pick up my right foot and spin it in circles without falling. and who squeezes into a door like that. open door, walk in, unless its a door to outside or possibly the bathroom, leave it open.
