Yeah alright.
I'm not willing to move around my partitions anymore, so I'll just deal with booting it from flash.
And I've got a systemrescuecd flash drive, with a script that restores grub to /dev/sda for me. :p
get a gparted live cd, and move them overnight. set it to move when you go to bed and wake up in the morning. you're going to be kinda slow booting from flash. it shouldnt take that long to move the partitions, a few hours at most, and im sure you can sleep through that.

Why not? It's the only other distro I've managed to install without a CD drive, and I kinda liked it too.
well you're trying to get a distro that is more of a "hardcore"(for lack of a better term) linux, right? try arch/gentoo/slackware any of those shouldnt be too hard to install off a usb. slax just always felt weird to me. its more of a portable OS, and i can't see using it as a primary operating system.
