Oh, so it plugs onto your console, so I guess it really isn't portable unless that in the edge of the picture is a car power supply but it isn't as efficient.

Yeah, there were no battery packs or anything of the sort, only the PS's AC adapter or car adapter. But the screen was REALLY nice at the time and the sound quality was pure awesomesauce.
