Yeah, I bought all my stuff during a sweet spot. That same memory is $72AU now. Actually 20% higher, about 20% of a year down the track. My HDD was also cheaper back then.

But that's really dodgey. 1066 RAM fails at 1066... You didn't overvoltage right?
Followed instructions from Kingmax's website, which tells you to overvolt by 0.2V (1.8 » 2.0V).  Tried like 2.05V as well, but the RAM fails at Memtest.
