Yeah, it's annoying when the parents are always on the young persons side, the "he doesn't understand yet, can't blame him" kinda poo poo.
But since you said you've endured him for 14 years now... then he's at least 14+ in age... that's not young any more...
believe me as long as your age > person it will always be enough :P
but yeah my parents do that with me too and blame my big bro (obviously he gets mad at me) and most of the time i have to argue with my parents that it was my fault, and even then they still blame my bro
so then my bro goes and hates on me, even though he saw me trying to defend him
coming from a little bro, don't hate your brother when he tries to get you out of trouble; its hard on him too :(
but this doesn't exactly apply to what happened so tev :P
anyway, about the hard drive; its really unfortunate that happened that's why i personally keep really important files on a flash stick and anime + entertainment on an HDD.
its not like its unexpected though, with the hard drive bumping around everywhere you have to expect it to have a 30% fail rate
im hoping its not the hard drives problem, I've lost data before, (games, movies, etc...) it really sucks.
