Can someone tell me exactly how to use these offsets for theme making, because I'm trying to make a theme, thanks

You need a hexedit program,.. hex workshop is the best,..

Then you open a decrypted prx file and go to the offset and edit the floot value,..

Or you can use Custom XMB editor v0.4 wich edits PAF and VSHMAIN prx value's in a Gui instead of hexediting the file yourself,..

hello! thanks for all the info! i just want to confirm one point - i have been trying to edit a decompressed 3.80 vshmain.prx but the firmware does not boot at all, how do i compress the damned prx back to normal with the changes?

You don't need to compress any prx file to test your prx,.. once the prx is ready you can compress it,. but not needed if it fits in the flash0,.

the fat PSP got not much flash0 space so its good if you can compress,.. the SLIM psp got 16mb free flash0 so you really don't need to compress for the SLIM,. Specky
