good idea for custom firmware
pretty much all of you know that when you hit the update button on your XMB, it' looks for an update. I think it would be cool if it looks for an update of the custom firmware your using.
Example:
I use M33. Let's say I've been gone for a while and i don't know if there's an update. The update button could find an update, download it, and install it, all automatically.

Actually, that is a pretty cool idea. Someone should make it.

Man, if I had 8 inches, I would find a better use for it :P

RE: good idea for custom firmware
I think you should email Dark_Alex with this idea. Maybe he'll incorporate it right in the firmware :D

RE: good idea for custom firmware
It's been done before - quite a long time ago.
However, haven't heard any update on this, so dunno...

RE: good idea for custom firmware
I hope they get back into this and DAX and M33 team will hopefully incorporate this into his CFW.

RE: good idea for custom firmware
sorry guyz but there is no point making this , like zinga said , there was a CFW wich had implemented this feature before , but as you see it got discarted.Who knows maybe cause of the fact that a web server must be up all the time with the latest CFW from dax wich is somehow i see very ilegal. There is nothing wrong for you to download the flasher from web pages and then incorporate the EBOOT.PBP and install it on your PSP.
