agreed! i don't watch many movies at all. But games is what i love lol

just finished watching elfen lied and i have to say it was a work of art... so many emotional moments in it and the main theme 'lilium' is a beautiful song

So I rewatched Kids on the Slope with my brother last week and loved it.

Saw Nausicaa of the Valley of the Clouds and thought it was outstanding.

Also, started watching Monster (about 8 episodes in?) and that's awesome.

Miss watching it as regularly as I did but the lack of internet and work (and Christmas festivities with family) has kept me away from it along with the internet in general but - to whoever may be interested - life going pretty well so far in London. Hopefully things will keep going well in 2013.

Up to ep 20 of Monster - really enjoying it.

Rewatched Evangelion 1.11 and then Evangelion 2.22 for the first time. Great stuff, both 8/10.

Finished Gundam 00 Season 1 - first Gundam title and it went down real well. Did start off slow and I found it production quite odd at times but overall enjoyable. 7/10. Will be starting Season 2 when back on the internet which will be on the 29th this month if everything goes to plan. Oh yes.

i need to get back to watching anime at some point... got fullmetal alchemist to go through as well as bleach to re-watch in sub.... i now see why people say dubs are bad most of the time

I've already watched the original Mobile Suit Gundam and I'm going to watch SEED soon. I'll consider watching 00.

So I've almost finished Ergo Proxy for the second time and.. well.. I'm struggling to figure out why I gave it 8/10.

For its length, its story isn't worked as well as it should have been and in retrospect the dream episodes were a rubbish waste of time. For an anime with an already slow pace the last thing it needed were fillers.

That all said, the first half is real darn good. I certainly can't justify it being an 8 any more but have trouble with 6 too, seems too harsh. 7 it'll have to be (unless this is the greatest ending to an anime ever or something).

From memory, Ergo Proxy had some interesting ideas, but I didn't particularly like the execution of them much.
