srsly though slush, i wouldnt say this is microsoft's fault, rather yours when you did something wrong.

just reinstall your fonts

surely you know windows well enough to just reset your fonts anyway without the letters

Up until 3 am doing homework using microsoft word
Go to sleep
Get up
Shower
Go to class
Come back from class
Use computer
everything looks fine
Friend signs in on windows messenger instead of normal messages telling me he has signed on I see a bunch of boxes where his name should be and a bunch of boxes where it should say "just signed in"
Read up on this

Some guy says he restarted and his font became jacked up like this
I restart
Low and behold everything is jacked up


I think it is somehow related to windows live as my windows live messenger window shows up horrifically distorted (half the window is actually purely black and everything in the window is just squares (most of my computer font restored itself after a few seconds)) also trying to edit the windows live language settings yields me a white window with a blank drop down box and no buttons

So I'm going to try reinstalling windows after I finish virus scanning and see if anything changes
