my laptop was acting stupid so i backed everything up on a portable hdd and reinstalled win7...
i happen to have an iphone 4 ( NO im not an apple fanboy i just like it and my dad got it for me, i prefer window but anyways)
i reinstalled i tunes and went to add my music collection back to the library only to find EVERY song was mising so i guess i must have cancelled the transfer by accident...

my problem is itunes... i still have all my music on my phone but stupid apple made it so if i try to sync it now, it erases all my music on the phone too and i really need to try to copy all my stuff from my phone to my pc so i can sync it with itunes and just add everything back again so i have it on my pc again.... anyone know how to do this? i tryed all the bad programs you get by searching google with the term backup ipod to pc but its all junk software...

is it jailbroken? you can just manually copy the music out.
or you can try iFunBox see if it works

SharePod should be able to copy the songs back to the PC aswell: http://www.getsharepod.com/
The .mp3s will have weird file names but don't mind that, the internal tagged song names are still correct^^

thanks guys. i got it sorted out. i forgot about sharepod actually. all i kept getting with google searches it software from xilsoft or something and i don't like their programs since they never work right for me
