Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

The problem with such a program on psp is that it takes computers with even decent amounts of memory and decent processors a long time to convert video from one source to another. Doing something like this on a PSP would seriously probably result in a program that would take literally days to transcode one file...

as a developer myself that's a spoon load of work for a less than ideal result

i.e. not gonna happen

hes done a couple of PC programs, and i have no doubt that he knows well the effort that goes into even simple programming

Your underestimating how hard it is to code a plugin for the psp, its not like coding is a total cakewalk that takes an hour to make a program, it takes weeks of tesing and coding just to fix a couple bugs, and with something as fragile as your suggestion it could potentially take a couple months just to add and bugfix one codec, but your suggesting wee make 6, now honestly, is anyone going to want to go through all of that just to make you a plugin? the answer is no.
