As mentioned in a previous news report for a breakthrough with the MGD's cooling system, there was a consequential battery loss. However Somy have never revealed how long it was in the first place.

A SCE (Somy Cooling Electronics) Spokesman today however, mentioned that the MGD's battery uses the latest research in troll science to generate electricity and battery life should no longer be a problem.

The expense of the technology is however high, bringing the overall cost of the MGD up, as they want to ensure to include this amazing battery in all packages of the MGD. On the other hand  however. The new Fridge Station Portable, the Fat and Hevy model will not use this battery along with the Fridge Station Fone.

The MGD is scheduled to come out in the holiday season a few years after both the release of the Fridge Station Fat and Hevy and Fridge Station Fone, but the price has yet to be finalized.
