I made this thread so people who have an idea for the "best game never made" can post em here. Go into as much or as little detail as you want.

Details: My idea is that you take the basic Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops engine and make a new game with it. One change is that instead of small, arena-like maps for each level, there would be big environments with multiple paths to an objective. Another small change would be instead of standing and prone as the only stances, I'd add the option to walk while crouching. Also, nix the recruitment mechanic. Other than that, keep the movement, targeting, weapon selection, etc. the same.

Another thing I'd do is make it so that it ships with two disks. The reasoning behind this is so that you can have a massive single-player game on the first disk, and a deep and involving multi-player game on the second. The single-player would be story-driven and focus on one main character, while the multi-player would let players customize their own characters and bring them into the arena.

The game will offer moral choices: should Organ stop and help the n00bs? Or should he run from the Sony ninjas? Truly gripping.

a pictochat slash paint program with mulitplayer minigames

it would basicly be a pictochat that worked online and offline and had a code system but with usernames kinda abit like irc

and you could use a paint function using drop down menus and the anlog stick to draw stuff

also you would be able to challenge invidual people or mulitple people to minigames via online or adhoc

LOL lil ORGAN would have to make it to safe houses to get his life points up..

Actually, Squee, your idea is pretty good. I think it should be called "Paintochat."

i was thinking PSPaintochat+ on the account of minigames

i was also thinkign youchat could be saved and the images someone else draws could be saved or you could instead of drawing a picture you could upload a small picture or photo from you folders even animations

and to preveent the crappy not enough space(if that happens)
all the files would be saved in a temp cache folder the gets deleted when you exit

If someone made it, it could be a cool social game. You could find your friends and send them pictures off your memory stick. Oh, yeah, saved conversations could go in the game save folder as text files and pictures could go in their own folder in /PICTURE
