RE: I'm over relationships.
lol, i am rather disagree with "single for the win"
sometimes it's good to be taken, but a few conditions applied
- you love the partner (don't really care if she like you or not, you ARE in a relationship, beside, love one love you, not the one you love)
- you are not a retard
- he/she is not a retard
- retard not as in retardation, retard as in slutty, drug or whatever other chocolates there is.
- enough money to support life.

there's nothing can go wrong with those conditions filled.
take your goddamn time, wee are male, @ 40 wee can still be effing attractive.

yeah there are always exceptions to relationships, if there is the love in that relationship between the two people.

and although there is the problem in buying her gifts, I like giving the gifts, its not like i was forced to do that or anything.

You are rather shallow and pedantic. lol.

Relationships don't just work, you have to make them work, and even if the other person doesn't want to even try, you have to go above and beyond and do their job for them to make it work. In the end, people generally only care about themselves, but I do believe that there is someone out there for everyone. They may not be perfect, but it may be able to work.

P.S. Long distance relationships for the lose. Guys can handle it, but girls can't because they get too attached and lonely and are more likely to start doing spoon behind your back because they're thousands of miles away. Go find a nice girl who goes to your school or something, and if you end up getting together you'll be able to see each other all the time and release all the pent-up tension from never seeing the person you love.

I can't agree to the second part with long relationships, because like you said, "relationships don't work, you have to make them work." Its a two way connection between the guy and the girl and if the so called girl is not okay with you being so far away then the relationship was not meant to be. I have friends that are apart for most of the year and only get to see each other 3 times a year, but hell they have been together longer than I have been with mine.

Spoiler for Story of My life:
Quote:I'm 20 and I was a computer/electrical engineer major. I was into my third year and I had a year and a half to go.

Then 1 day as I am doing my programming homework and figuring out what the hell was wrong with my code,

I thought to myself 'spoon, i don't want to do this for the rest of my life.'

So I changed majors and now I am a proud music (vocal) education major. The point is do what you want to do in life. Cause its your life don't let anyone hold you back.

RE: I'm over relationships.
You made me think of why I even want a girlfriend... I'm 2 days away from being 20 and I never had one, let alone any kind of relationship with females.
The times I tried only ended in pain for me. 99,9% of the girls I know are just ones that want to get drunk and have endless party or want a huge amount of money to buy some stuff. So far I can say I never met a single honest girl.... I was always looking for a pure and honest girl but I guess they don't exist in reality, capitalism has corrupted everything.

Meh I feel often lonely but I guess loneliness is better then trying to reach something that simply doesn't exist...

Yeah there are alot of bitch girls around. But there really are some really sweet an honest girls too. Alot of girls do like to party (and why shouldn't they?) and get drunk (again, why not?), but don't alot of guys aswell?

I know a few pretty wonderful girls. Am 16 right now, and can say that relationships are haaard, no denying it. But it can work if you WANT (as in honestly want) to be in a relationship with that person and you can accept them for who they are (the same goes for them too).
Flaws are FLAWS! No-one is flawless and that should just be accepted.

Hope this gives something to think about..

RE: I'm over relationships.
there's no perfect person for anyone to be their perfect partner.
if you can learn to accept a person's imperfection's, then they become your perfect partner.
anyone can be your partner, as long as both of you can learn how to accept each other's imperfection.
relationships are good, but don't get too much attach to it, that you feel like cursing the world when it did not work out.
you will never know if it will work or not, unless you try.

@xitherun, you're the one in facebook right? O.o

nothing.

RE: I'm over relationships.
Hey not all girls are bad.  But that's the problem you have those stupid girls out there that give us good ones bad judgement.  You can't look at all girls like they are going to hurt you or take advantage of you.  I mean girls can say the same thing about guys and then human life would come to an end if no one was willing to take a chance on love or a realationship.

RE: I'm over relationships.
Agreed there. I know a girl who's been hurt by alot of guys. She's had enuff of relationships too, and finds trust hard. but shes such a nice person, and noone i know would ever want to hurt her.

BUT

you get bad guys/girls who are selfish, arrogant and ignorant of other peoples feelings. If someone like that breaks your heart, then is it suprising that they don't trust anymore.

Still, if summit like that happens least people always have me to turn to (i have no life so im always around to talk to). By letting it out and having a cry often makes you feel abit better.
Friends are better than partners imo, but theres nothing wrong with relationships whatsoever, so long as its RIGHT!
