5.50GEN Questions
got a few question for those already using 5.50GEN firmware..
is there a 1.50 kernel addon like the m33 firmwares have?
is there a compatible version of game categories plugin?
is there a compatible version of cwcheat?

LEDA is compatible with this, i don't know if there are existing 1.50 kernel addon for GEN
Game categories still not compatible with 5.50gen
the latest cwcheat still compatible with this

but im still sticking with 5.00m33-6 until bubbletunes update his game categories plugin

No it's not. LEDA installs but does not work. Same with 5.50 MHU.

ah okay, guess I'll stick with 5.00m33 for now then.. need my 1.50 homebrew to work

I'm on 5.50 GEN-B and got LEDA working!
The trick is to install DC 7 and use Test M33 option to run 4.01 M33 from memory stick. Install LEDA from there and now you can run 1.50 homebrew in 4.01 M33. You need to install LEDA only once.
In 5.50 GEN-B LEDA is not working but doesn't crash and there is no need to downgrade if you use 1.50 homebrew only seldom.
I couldn't get DC 8 Test M33 option to boot to XMB at all when in 5.50 GEN-B.

Update:

If you install Time machine too you can just reset and press button to boot to 4.01 M33 by using these patched IPL's and PRX.

Update 2:

I got DC 8 Test M33 option working if you disable CXMB plugin. There is no need to disable CXMB with DC 7. I have patched IPL's and PRX for 5.00 M33-4 to boot to directly TM 5.00 M33-4 and I will post them if someone wants them.
