I don't really care between + and -. (What's the big difference anyway? I nver did any research back then).
Having a look, it seems most of mine are -.
BD much too expensive for me now. HDD much better option, which is also my prefered between that and DVD.

i have always used dvd-r and dvd+r/DL never have i had a single layer dvd+r.

Never had a problem with incompatible discs (I hardly ever burn anything to disc) so I can't really say... I didn't even realise there were 2 different types until about a year ago...

Actually DVD-R has higher compatibility. DVD+R has more features, though most of them you probably will rarely (if ever) use.
Me: DVD-R for compatibility. +R adds nothing useful anyway...

Lol , me now confused , what i remember was the PS2 i was making DVD for watching them on the console and if im not wrong the + was the only one working.
Now im not so sure , what i remember...

^Yeah
DVD+R's are almost a must for burning PS2 games, games seem to lag when I use -R's
