Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Ok last night I installed Vista Sp1 and now the internet and computer is running mega mega slow. I MEAN SLOW. when I try loading up E.p it took 34secs in both IE AND FIREFOX. Should I uninstall Sp1?

mine was SP1 intergrated - but SP1 is supposed to improve your computer - some settings have been changed by SP1 or you ~ I recommend looking over them.

chk your firewall settings (if you have one) .. same spoon happened to me once. Turned out it was the firewall slowing the net. Make a new user account, restart the pc, log into the new user (not yours) and then chk if the net is fine or not.

it may be a temp thing..

Give it a while for the paging file to get up to speed with the new changes.

Also, try any TCP/IP tricks and do some tweaks to Firefox and Vista if you haven't already.

no i just disabled it to test if it was that.
