just want to ask the secret on how to make a smooth icon like the applecor I'm playing around with photoshop from time to time to make a very smooth bmp's file like the icon from applecor but no luck....

what software they use to do it?

maybe somebody give an overview or brief instruction... i want to make a smooth bmp's file for rco...

you use alpha channel

photoshop. . .

and yeah its ALL in the alpha channel . . on how smooth the transition is. . like if your alpha channel is very pixelated and blocky , so will your icon . . .

PS alpha channel is what's in charge of transparency in icons.

I'm using the alpha always but is there something like settings for alpha on photoshop i don't see anything?

make sure the alpha is always using a smooth transition. . . like look at the alpha of inacor/applecor mod. its the best example to learn from. . .. . .

ok bro diego i will try to figure out where that smooth transition setting...

edit:
i still don't manage to find the transition setting for alpha channel in photoshop...
