Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

My friend just completely dismantled my laptop, to clean it out, so I could hopefully get more efficient cooling. Both my CPUs are running a good 20 degrees cooler (Idling at about 40C instead of 60ish), but my GPU sensor (nvidia sensor) is saying that it's idling at about 90C (up from about 70 before). But it doesn't feel warm at all, like it would before if it was at 90 or higher. Is there any way to tell if the sensor is screwed, or is it really got, but I can't feel it?

ADVICE GUYS? :D

Try from a cold boot (as in... cold, ie laptop hasn't been turned on for a least a few hours) so that you KNOW that nothing inside is hot. Perhaps stick it in hibernate so you can start it up quickly. Start it up and quickly check the temps - see what it says there.
Although it's possible for things to heat up really quickly (ie in seconds), it's probably unlikely to idle at 90C that quickly after starting up.

Also, what's the temp under load?

I turned it on after having been off all night, and it booted up at about 75C , which is still hotter than normal, after that long off (before dismantle), and after about 10 minutes on, it had gone up to about 85C.

Under load (minecraft), it'll slowly go up to, and peak at about 102 (which is normal, it was like that before), yet it still doesn't feel as hot.

So either what I'm feeling is the CPU, and the GPU is on fire, or my sensors are lying. :(
