Using Windows 7 right now. Don't need .net framework.

ah. that explains why my home laptop wasn't reporting anything. .NET 3.0 Framework (WPF) is intergrated :p

so this probably only affects XP users?

You *do* need .NET Framework on Windows above XP. It's just bundled with the OS rather than you separately installing it.
(unless you strip it out, but I wouldn't recommend it)

No, I mean you don't need to separately install .NET framework, it's like built in.
