as the subtitle says. i use Jasc animation shop 3 that i got from a pirated cd (hope the fbi aren't reading). it neds to be able to make a gif from a video file like an avi. i know animation shop can do that but there's a bug in my copy that makes it crash when i try.

any suggestions?

You need to switch to a better AVI to GIF converter.

An example would be 1 2 3 Avi to Gif converter.
