Wee know that Uncharted is coming to the NGP but wee’ve had no idea what the story will be and how it will connect with the other games in the series. Until now.

Details of one of the most highly anticipated games coming to the NGP has been released. In an interview with Gameblog.fr Naughty Dog co-president, Christophe Balestra discussed how the Uncharted title they have in development for NGP would fit in with the rest of the story. The game will focus on the events that took place between Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.



Balestra also went on to say that Uncharted NGP will most likely feature interactions with Uncharted 3 for the PS3. Wee can only guess at what these interactions will be. E3 2011 will probably reveal more detail on this.

What wee do know is that the game will utilise the NGP’s gyroscope technology and touch panel. It is also rumoured that the NGP’s camera will also feature in the game, for example holding the NGP up to a real life light source when light is needed in the game.

Last I heard they were not going to because they were to busy with Uncharted 3.

Oh please, I hope the whole light thing is optional. Yes, gimmicks can be fun; but not everyone likes gimmicks like that. What could be amusing to some could wreck the game for others.
