I think im going to use it to upload stuff :D I thought it was crappy, so i tested it and i was liek :o I thought it was a mistake so I retested [Image: 433479975.png]

Not as good as assassinator's but meh, its a public high school.

My uni's internet connection is quite insane.

And a large amount of our computers just recently got upgraded to E8400s with 4GB RAM. Yeah, uni's got shitloads of money.

SpeedTest seems to think that Dublin (Ireland) is closer than Maidenhead (England). It may be closer but an over-land link is surely faster than an undersea/satellite link...

Computers, no:

Most of them are running single-core 2.4Ghz P4's and 512Mb of RAM. A few of the newer ones are running E5500's and 2Gb of RAM. Sadly, parts of the school network are a little on the old side (a couple of annexes are running at 10Mb/s) meaning that logging on/off, opening/saving things, etc... take ages.

I've tried uploading - get around 150KB/sec max at Uni. Most of the computers are P4 2.8GHz with HT enabled (probably a P4C) and 512/1024MB RAM. Though one of the IT labs have E8400s with 4GB RAM and 22in widescreen monitors.
