RE: need help with laptop cooler
Hmmmm I recently bought a laptop fan and it's been good, but those that are on sale are prone to braking really easily. I recommend that you get one with a brand name or definitely one of those that comes with a warranty.

RE: need help with laptop cooler
A temporary "fix" you could try is to downclock your CPU and GPU to see if it lowers temperatures.  Might not really work, since laptop components are typically optimised to automatically step down the clock when not in use, but you can try it nonetheless.

RE: need help with laptop cooler
Rather than buy a cooler i would invest in having it cleaned out of all the dust and grime that's built up inside, causing it to overheat. unless you're competent and confident with a screwdriver, in which case do it yourself
