Flash Drive help...MAJOR HELP
Ok guys I don't know double you tee eff happend but I was in school today and my teacher asked me to bring my work over on my pen drive. So i saved everything waiting for everything to close and pulled it out. when I put it into his computer it didnt read it it just said removable disk..(normaly it should say "pendrive") so i thought spoon it must be corrupted, but no worries i will format it at home. I got home and I tried to format it and it goes "There is no disk, inset disk and try again" double you tee eff!!!!!!!!!!! help!

its dead :(  has happened to many of our usb sticks at work ... all you can do is setup an RMA with the manufacturer and get a replacement.  

sucks cause my boss has lost LOTS of important data on dead 32gb sticks :(

Try it on many different usb ports :p Usually works for me

this happens sometimes at scool to me. The way i fix that is to put the flash drive in the back of the computer (theres usually a port there) idk if that helps, but it might help you determine if its a problem with the flash drive or just the port...

Happened to me a number of times.  Never have been able to recover from them (so they go in the trash-heap for me, if I'm not feeling generous and donating it to a random "friend").
