When you restart the computer and the first screen comes up (not the OS... the first screen when you start the PC), press Pause. At the bottom, you will see a set of instructions associating F1-» F12 (not all.. it depends on your motherboard make), Del etc with a function. Typically, F12 is for boot screen, F8 is for safe mode. Find the one which says settings or like.

If all else fails... press the power button to turn on the computer, then immediately press and hold DEL. I havn't yet met a computer that won't cooperate with that approach... Then again I may have been lucky...

Apparenlty something i did yesterday with all the F* pressing unlocked my computer from that...
Ahh well I'm still gonna access bios
I have tried everything that you guys have suggested and all i keep getting is the boot stuff (and recovery) at the boot screen other wise i get nothing else at any other screen...

Check the motherboard manual if you're having trouble getting into the BIOS setup...
