RE: Vista Hate is Bullchocolate
I'm using the Pre-beta Windows 7. It's pretty much Vista with some upgrades and less resource requirements.

UAC now has the option to tell you something is happening on your PC, but doesn't stop you until select continue like the Vista UAC did (but honestly, who the hell used it anyways?)

"Are you sure you want delete this?"

At least that one is REASONABLE! I mean is it a big deal to want to copy file?

For example, you want to remove those mesages?  Disable the UAC by running msconfig - tools - click disable uac and then run...poof...now your system and less questionable and more vulnerable like windows xp :P

Well sorry for using it for only 10 minutes for setting up a modem on my father's new PC.

I wish i had that feature at work...twice in one week some jack donkey has dragged and moved folders on the shared drive WAAAAAY away from their home location ... one of the folders got dragged so far it fell into someone recycle bin and is gone.  :(  and our backups are being an donkey hat because it has been loading media for 25 hours now.

Sometimes these warnings are good for the dumbdumbs...

New Windows should have a 10 question quiz during the install to determine the skill level of the user and set permissions appropriately!

That's me! I have Vista Ultimate and it runs perfectly, and i just upgraded so all my files and everything are still alive, only poo poo is i can't use aero but there are some good themes. Every program ive used works. I can be running limewire with PS4 while listening to music and it won't lag at all, so it works pretty good!
by the way MehHakker PS CS4 works perfectly. System memory is always at like 84% usage but that's the same whether im running all that poo poo or just FF, don't know why but never affected the computer.

Shouldn't the computers at work be password locked? I know the ones at my workplace are.

Also with a quiz not many people will be able to even use the OS >_>
