<===Wav to Vag V 2.5===> I wrote all this shit, in my spare time and had nothing better to do, so with that being said let us proceed ! <====================HISTORICAL REFERENCE====================> I started this app as a simple option to convert wav to vag. My ultimate goal was to make it more user friendly, easier than "MFaudio".. This was a very daunting process for me, as there isn't much documentation , or source reading on that subject. I am proud to say that I finally succeeded. I could now convert a mono wav into a vag pretty quick, so then I started working on a method whereby I could split a stereo wav into a mono. That wasn't to bad for there was alot more reading sources on that subject matter. I manage to have a couple of exe files that would do there job, but noticed that when I dropped a wav file into the app, another problem occured. Apparently the wav file I used turned out to be a atrac3 wav file intially, so that being said my app was unable to convert this type of wav file ! So I then said screw it, and ended up re-writing the app to check the header, to insure that wav files placed or browse via my app are indeed the correct format wav file. Now with the new settings established, an atrac3 wav file placed in the app, would display an error informing the user that atrac wav files are not compatible for use or conversion in the app. My ultimate goal was to make a click sound replacer, that could extract a "wav" file from a "vag" file or vice versa, make or replace single or multiple "vag" files and eventually create or edit a "system_plugin.rco" file aka a "click sound"! You be the judge, but I am very happy to report that my goals for this app , have been achieved ! This app would not be what it is today, without the resources of "Z33 Rco Tool" I hope you enjoy the app, and get some use from it as I already have been able to right from the beginning. <===Working With the App===> Let me try to explain the method to my madness lol..! <=================INSTRUCTION=================> <=====STEP 1=====> First of all the drag and drop is just for a single file mostly, but you can drop multiple files. I have dropped up to 8 files on it and they were converted in a couple of seconds.:-) What I'm saying is that if your going to make new click sounds for your psp you have to use the individual tab buttons. I know its a pain in the ass, but that's the only way to do it. I will try and walk you through it the best as i can for all the new people that never have done this before. First lets break down what the buttons do so have a look at the table below where i will try and explain. <=====STEP 2=====> USE THIS METHOD WHEN REPLACING INDIVIDUAL FILES OR AS A GUIDELINE . Cursor This sound is when you move the d-pad around in the xmb Decide This is the sound when you "decide" on something with the X button Cancel This is like when you are in the submenu then return to the main Category I find this one like the decide i guess that's why its called category _decide Option like when you press X in the submenu and there's more than one "option" Error This is when the system get some sort of "error" System ok This is like when your in the text entry and want to leave System ng This sound you may never hear only when the system get an error Ok that's basically what they do so all you need to do is figure out what sound you want for each button and click the button for that sound.
