ive used my psp fat mem stick sony mem duo pro 1g over & over to make magic mem stick then reformat to magic mem stick. my psp slim i use a san disk 2g mem stick. when i transfer from pc to psp onto 2g if its a 500 mb file it takes 3 mins. but when i use sony 1g the same 500 mb file takes 9 mins. could that be happening due to constantly logically formatting my sony 1g mem stick. just wondering if that's happened to anyone else.  or is it just the diiference between mem sticks or a data transfer issue with my pc.

AS ALWAYS THANKS IN ADVANCE

It is the speed.

Many people prefer the sandisk memory stick because they perform better and have better write speeds.

The sony memory sticks are fast enough for me but many say they have slow right speeds.

It is not due to the formatting so no need to worry.
either that or ur 1gb is a fake
Speedwise, highly unlikely.

Flash memory is rated at around 1000 writes, so constantly erasing and rewriting will obviously affect that, however, shouldn't do anything to the speed of the memory stick.
