lol vista is an epic fail.....  microsucks already said they are making a new OS tat may be released in 2010 or even as early as next year.. ive heard alot of dates so i dot know whether its true.... i like XP alot but it is missing alot of the nice features linux and mac has... mircosucks needs to ditch their old code and redo the OS completely...  and not cram the services down your throat.... 50 process running is kinda dumb.... on xp i got a total of 17 process most of the time
demonchild Wrote:Garbage. Thank God I reinstalled XP onto my cuz's laptop. I was getting sick of it. I don't like the idea of Microsoft phoning home for bullchocolate reasons..

xopher Wrote:Zinga, what is the article source? I'm lazy right now, any links to break this babysitting poo poo? Modified host file send M$ sites to 127.0.0.1, disabling specific services without crippling the OS?
thanks for the read
The source of the article is at the bottom of the quote.

I'm sure there's many ways of blocking it, including packet filters, proxies, modified host files and the like. :P
OMG!

I was fine with it but now that I read this I am happy I am back on XP.
