Endless Paradigm

In my school there is a wireless network but it has protection.
The librarian probably won't give it to me because she doesn't know anything...

I did some searching and figured that trying to crack it would be require Linux since from Windows it's almost impossible.
I found a little application called Wireless Key Viewer from nirsoft.net and it lets you see the keys saved in a PC.

After some consideration I'm thinking of borrowing a laptop from my school and using that laptop to get the code; now... There is a problem, the account is limited, and I need to get it to run in Admin. I'm not sure if I can booth up using the Admin/Admin thing since it's most likely removed. What other options would I have to getting in to the administrator account? I can probably run any CD or anything without hassle, or her seeing me do it... But I still need to know what I need to do. I remember there was a boot up CD that you could boot from it and it would take out some key and you sent that to a website and it would crack it, anyone know what this is? I would prefer a method that doesn't require going online to get the key though.

PS: Windows XP is running great. I'm still missing some apps and updates and such but in little time I'll be at 100% normality. In fact, it'll be better, because it'll be faster and more efficient.

well, you could run a windows liveCD and run the app from there
The liveCD would allow you to boot into A windows OS as an admin, and then you could search the other installation...well, in theory at least, ive never tried it

The other option is to find an app that will run before windows fully initializes, since security is weak at that point

you'll be incredibly lucky if you're not caught. Usually the district monitors those things and immediately picks out any unwanted connections.

They usually have tons of alarm systems and everything too.

Its also possible to hack with winXp (I know there's a program but can't think of its name, not to mention still illegal)

Ummm, I want to use the wireless... The librarian doesn't want to give me the WEP key but the last time the network admin came she told me I could use it... That she would make it so people all around the school could use the wireless from laptops. That's the reason wee have SCHOOL-WIDE WIRELESS. Not so only 1 or 2 laptops can connect...

Slushba132: They let some people use their laptops... Just not mine, I don't know why; she just generally dislikes me. I'm pretty sure that depending on the method I use it could be illegal, but it really depends on how I do it I guess, and I'm pretty damn sure I won't get in trouble for it.

Now, if any mod wants to close it for illegal activity then so be it. But please don't go giving me lectures or saying stuff like this.

PS: Hacking WEP keys with Windows XP is possible but you can't inject IV's... And barely anyone uses the wireless in my school... So it would take a long time...

I tried to do this to my schools PC's but mainly to enable messenger so I can sPa/\/\ other peoples computers using netsend.

To one PC. and that's because during this electronic survey thingy magigre they left me on a computer that was on administrator.
