it's damn sloooooooooooooooow... useless....
Yeah I remember when I used this.
DAMN SLOW!
Ditto. I was just toying around with it yesterday... But too much to suffice for a long time..
i think that i run a thread 0n this subject at PSP-haxors.com over a year ago..
It is very slow and there was so other problem which i can't remember
Links REMOVED Amzter, be careful, no illegal files.
The PSP is only a 333MHz machine after all... Can't expect too much out of it...
i don't remember the actual win95... when I got into comps, it was win98 for the win!

hmm if i remeber right when win 95 was released it was the era of processors less than 200 mhz
i remember using win95 on a pentium 2 which was 222 mhz and it used to work fine
but i guess the just isn't built with the architecture to run a pc os

No, Win95 would run on 486's.
Emulation is what makes things slow.
you should try Linux or even DOS*(if u owned a copy) I remember my first 486 with its 40mb hard drive.. I use to dream about occipital drives..
i am not old but I was a clever boy..
sorry, i kind of forgot about this thread.
anyway, to clear things up,
bochs is an open source emulator that someone has ported to psp, this is what i need. it doesn't come with any win95 related stuff at all but that doesn't matter as i have an original install disc for windows 95(original, not a copy). there is nothing illegal about this. i have downloaded this before but i have since lost it. if anyone could find a copy of the completely-legal-psp-ported-open-source version of bochs the it would make me very happy.
there are still e-piggies waiting.
