same, 7z for personal archiving and rar for internetz
go rar.
i open all `zip files with RAR.
win`zip doesn't have file structure
i use rar pretty much all the time, but i prefer 7zip.
i don't compress too often so I'm mostly uncompressing file from the internet which are always rar, so i vote rar
Rar and 7z.
Only ever use zip for friends that do not know much about how to use a computer at all, to make them install something is like sending a monkey to pluto using only bamboo sticks.
I vote for ... RAR!
