well, my brother had the operation to replace the shunt in his head and all seems to have gone well.. the shunt he had before had disconnected which was causing severe headaches and the fluid not been drained properly. he's still in intensive care atm because his heart rate is a little higher than the docters would like it to be. once his heart rate has come down he'll be moved to the ward..
i still don't know what's happening with my cat. i manged to find a vet that told me there is a chance that he still could get better ( a small chance but still a change ) he became unresponsive and couldn't even stand the other day. he's now at the clinic and all i can do is hope he recovers from the illness....i can't imagine not having the little fella around. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old and he was 6 years old this month.

Hope your brother gets well soon. I already have had 2 deaths in my family so I know how it feels.
