But then you look at costs of other stuff, like food in Japan, it's far more expensive than in the US. So it's not one sided like some of you think, each country has it's strengths/weaknesses. Living in Japan is probably more expensive actually than living in the US.

Food isn't expensive here. Actually when wee go abroad to the US or Europe. Wee find the food to be REALLY expensive.

Even at McDonald's? Here a McDonald's normal snack (a sandwich and a coke) is around 20 bucks... lol.
